Human Trafficking Case Manager/Advocate Course Overview
This course will prepare participants with information, best practices, and guidelines that will allow them to not only understand the unique, complex, and varied needs of victims of sex trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation, it will also help participant’s in prevention and intervention program design, the establishment of community linkages and coalitions, ensuring cultural competency and humility, as well as fostering essential organizational functions, such as community outreach, client advocacy, and engaging policy makers/legislators.

In this forum sponsored by ReLAY Institute and in collaboration with Project Rebound, attndess will learn about what Project Rebound does. Project Rebound constructs a life-affirming alternative to the revolving door policies of mass incarceration by making higher education more accessible and supportive of formerly incarcerated students so that they can acquire the knowledge and skills of a university education, enhance their capacity for civic engagement and community leadership, secure meaningful and gratifying employment, empower themselves and their families, and ultimately make stronger, safer communities.
